Claude set up Winsec in 1983. Before then he had gained extensive experience in the UK and abroad as a financial controller and financial director in UK-owned trading companies. This experience has been invaluable in his role as a financial advisor. He has a wealth of knowledge of pensions, investment funds and other industry products, which, as part of his holistic financial planning, has been very beneficial to clients. Now he is able to combine his knowledge and experience with the research, technology and compliance back-up of Blackstone Moregate in personal and inheritance tax planning, trusts and investments. After taking a degree in Jurisprudence at Oxford he joined Chartered Accountants Peat Marwick (now KPMG) where he spent 29 years based in their London and overseas offices. For much of that time he was heavily involved with a major part of the defence industry and saw it, first, through nationalisation and then, eventually, denationalisation. He joined Winsec in 1990 as a director and specialises in tax efficient investment planning, tax shelters, inheritance tax and trusts. His wide-ranging experience as an accountant, along with an application to detail, have proved extremely useful when helping clients plan their finances.

William started his financial services career at Coutts Bank in 1972. Having received in-depth training in all aspects of banking and investment, he moved to the insurance industry in 1985. Joining Winsec in 1990, he became responsible for relationships with Fund Managers and, as a result, he understands their world well. William specialises in investment, financial planning and long-term care. His sympathetic and understanding approach to the financial requirements of his more elderly clientele has ensured him great loyalty from all his clients. William’s qualifications include Long Term Care.

Debbie has been in the financial services industry since 1989 when she joined M&G Life & Pensions in an administrative role. After 15 years service she left to join Cooperative Insurance Services to train as an advisor, gaining product knowledge, sales experience and her benchmark qualifications. Prior to joining Winsec, to specialise in whole of market Protection business, Debbie gained some experience working with an independent mortgage broker. Debbie’s qualifications cover the areas of Mortgage advice, Investment and Risk and Personal Tax.

Janet joined Winsec in 2004 as part of the Administration team. As the office manager, she deals with and co-ordinates the general office administration, client servicing and helps to ensure that we work efficiently on behalf of our clients and with the consultants, so that they can concentrate on giving the best possible service.
