About Winsec
We have provided expert financial advice to the Essex and Suffolk areas since 1985
Based in Great Braxted, Essex, Winsec Financial Services Limited (Winsec) offers you holistic financial planning solutions. These cover every aspect of your finances, including tax and legal matters. With our friendly, one-to-one approach, we have been advising individuals and businesses for over 25 years. Many of our original clients are still with us today.
Winsec was formed in the early 80s by Claude Brownlow, who already had over 20 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant in the UK and overseas. Stephen Hardisty joined from KPMG in 1990 as a shareholder/director.

In the spring of 2010, Winsec was acquired by Blackstone Moregate, Independent Financial Advisors based in the City of London.
Following the acquisition, Winsec continues to trade from Essex. With Blackstone Moregate, we now offer our clients an even greater wealth of expertise and have specialists in every area of financial planning, including tax advice from Blackstone Franks. We have combined assets under management of around £200 million and our team of 9 highly qualified advisors and 8 support staff are here to help you find the right solutions for you.
